With new member Vamp the MACH Alliance opens up the ‘Enabler’ category next to ‘MACH Vendors’ and ‘MACH System Integrators’.
Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 4 February 2021 - Vamp, the world’s first AIOps platform for Continuous Release Orchestration, announced today it has joined the MACH Alliance, the independent non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for open, best-of-breed technology ecosystems. As part of this group, Vamp will work with other members to educate the market on how it can benefit from tech ecosystems that are Microservices-based, API-first, Cloud-native SaaS and Headless (MACH) in the complex modern technology landscape.
“The MACH Alliance is extremely excited to welcome Vamp,” says Kelly Goetsch, president of the MACH Alliance. “Vamp has built and offers a unique microservices platform opening the new category of ‘Enablers’ for the MACH Alliance. Vamp is not a typical MACH vendor, nor a service provider, but facilitates implementations of MACH architecture through their platform and is therefore a key and certified element in the MACH landscape.”
The MACH Alliance launched in June 2020 and is rooted in the common belief that the interoperability and open architecture of modern software will propel current and future digital experiences.
Releasing software faster and more frequently is getting more complex as enterprises move towards microservices, Kubernetes and MACH-based technologies. Software releases executed by DevOps teams are highly manual, slow and error-prone. Product Managers and other, more business-oriented people play no role in this release process and can’t measure the impact on the customer experience in real-time. A recent survey by Vamp, the 2021 State of Cloud-Native Release Orchestration, confirms this. Nearly 9 out of 10 companies indicate that they have more problems in production since working with microservices.
That’s why Vamp and the MACH Alliance are joining forces to help companies take advantage of the most innovative and flexible enterprise technologies available and to accelerate their release cycles and time-to-market.
“Vamp accelerates digital companies to release their software features faster, more frequently, and with full automated reliability. We are active in the Cloud-Native space from its inception, and integrate seamlessly with technologies like Kubernetes, microservices and machine learning,” says Olaf Molenveld, CTO & Co-founder of Vamp. “As we ourselves, as the foundation of our Vamp platform, use the technologies that MACH promotes, but also accelerate the adoption of these technologies in digital companies, we felt aligned and in-sync with all the MACH alliance stands for from day one. We truly believe that, together with all the members of the MACH alliance, we can lift the online digital world into a better space, where customers are serviced better day by day by creating real value and creating a culture of seamless experimentation and improvement.”
Based in Amsterdam, Vamp is the industry’s first AIOps platform designed to help engineering, DevOps and SRE teams to release software faster and more frequently with near-100% reliability for great customer experience. Vamp was founded and launched in 2015 by Olaf Molenveld, and is backed by European venture capital firms. Customers include Nebraska Furniture Market, WeGroup, Parkius and DeltaBlue.
